What's new in Ibiza: from Okuda to [UNVRS]

Season 2025 brings exciting events to Ibiza’s cultural offer and its clubbing scene. Three of the most exciting news this summer are the colourful performance of artist Okuda San Miguel in the West End of Sant Antoni, the opening of the new Visitor Centre of the Phoenician settlement of Sa Caleta and the anticipated opening of [UNVRS], a pioneering concept in the global clubbing scene.

First street painted by Okuda in the world

Santa Agnès street, in the heart of the West End of Sant Antoni, has been turned into an impressive display of street art by the Cantabria-born artist Okuda San Miguel. His piece of street art, baptised Endless Rainbow Walk covers over 1,000m2 along 160 metres straight of road surface with multicolour shapes, animal figures, universal symbols and his iconic “Star of Chaos”.

This is his first work on road surface using this technique and this large and it’s a visual tribute to diversity, respect and inclusion. Okuda San Miguel stands out for being one of the best known street artists in the world and San Antonio is now another of the cities boasting his distinctive murals, like Boston, New York, Madrid, Houston, Paris, Lima, Berlin and Moscow.

[UNVRS]: birth of the first “hyperclub” in the world

Within the electronic music universe, Ibiza is once again at the forefront thanks to the opening of [UNVRS], the first “hyperclub” in the world. This new clubbing concept blends immersive shows, futuristic architecture and sensory technology to offer an unprecedented multidimensional experience.

[UNVRS] is all about changing stages, 360º visuals, interactive installations and a ground breaking musical programme. This new space is expected to redefine the clubbing landscape as we know it and turn Ibiza again into an innovative lab in the global nightlife scene. You’ll find a club in the toilets, private corridors between VIP zones and other spaces to get around discretely, several terraces, a sound system designed specially for [UNVRS], a burger joint with club aspirations...  

Everything it needs to make summer 25 mark a new milestone in the electronic music scene in Ibiza with the birth of [UNVRS], located in the venue that was once home to the iconic Ku disco and then Privilege in the 90s. 

Resident DJs confirmed at UNVRS for summer 2025

In May 2025, UNVRS announced its amazing weekly line-up of resident DJs that make up a huge variety of styles of electronic music:

Mondays: Eric Prydz will introduce Holosphere 2.0, a version of his original show that aspires to be the greatest production on the island and the most technologically advanced show to date. When? From 2nd June until 1st September.
Tuesdays: Anyma will lead the night devoted to melodic techno. When: July and August.
Wednesdays: Jamie Jones will bring us Paradise, Sands of Solaris, a sensory experience inspired by cosmic landscapes. When? From 18th June until 1st October. 
Thursdays: the charismatic Australian DJ, FISHER, will rule on Thursdays with his blend of house and techno sets. When? From 5th June until 25th September. 
Fridays: David Guetta will introduce Galactic Circus with all the amazing sound and visual elements we've come to expect from him. When? From 13th June until 3rd October.
Saturdays: The famous elrow party will be camping at UNVRS to offer its unique themed set-ups and theatre shows.  When? From 7th June until 4th October. 
Sundays: Carl Cox, the living legend of electronic music, is back on the Ibizan scene promising epic house and techno sets. When? From 22nd June until 21st September.

Sa Caleta opens its doors to the past

In the cultural sphere, it’s worth highlighting the new Visitor Centre of Sa Caleta, which covers a military base built in the early 40s and the Phoenician archaeological site declared World Heritage by UNESCO as part of the denomination Ibiza, Biodiversity and Culture. 

This new exhibition space is next to Es Bol Nou beach, in the old military base built at the end of the Spanish Civil War. Inside, visitors can learn about the history of the first Phoenician settlement in Ibiza and the uses and customs of its people, who lived at this site in the 8th century B.C. To do so, the Visitor Centre takes you back in time through recreations, virtual reality and interactive exhibitions, as well as an outdoor walk that leads to the archaeological site and the two anti-aircraft batteries built in the 40s, which are also part of the centre. There’s no doubt that it’s an interesting educational experience right next to one of the most unique beaches on the southern coast of the island. Sa Caleta.
